Best time for the Liwa Desert Safari package – Season guide.

Winter (November – March) - Cosy weather with mild temperatures, Long daylight, and you may enjoy the Liwa Festival (December) during this season.
Summer (April to October) - Safari Departures at early hours to enjoy the breathtaking sunrise views and Dune bashing.

What should you pack for the Liwa Desert Safari?

Comfy long-sleeved shirts paired with trousers – Protect yourself from the sun and respect the culture.
Closed-toe walking shoes – For sandy and uneven terrain.
Sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat – To explore the desert in the scorching Sun.
Camera, Extra battery, power bank – Capture every moment.
Valid ID (Emirates ID or Passport) – Required for all travellers (Digital Copy accepted).

Vehicle policy

There is no vehicle sharing in the Liwa full-day desert safari package. Only a private vehicle is available, and the 4x4 car will be reserved exclusively for your booking! No other passengers will accompany you or your group.

Dress Code

For the trips during winters (October to March), opt for warm and breathable clothing to stay cosy during the chilly desert twilights.

Health & Safety Tips

Your safety – Our priority.

Dune bashing – Not recommended for pregnant women and individuals with heart and back health conditions.

Child Safety:

According to UAE traffic law, children under three years must use a child safety seat. The Child seat will be arranged on request. Children must be supervised or accompanied by their parents or guardians at all times.

On-site safety measures:

First aid kits and trained guides.
Satellite tracking and 24/7 monitoring.
For emergencies, we will arrange Backup support vehicles.

Things not permitted

Respecting the safety and privacy of everyone, we restrict the use of Alcohol and tobacco during the tour or inside the vehicle.
Owing to the Emirati norms and laws, we restrict guests from capturing photographs of government buildings, Military and police areas and local Emirati women.
