The consumption or possession of alcohol or tobacco is not allowed during the tour in the car.

Important Information
What to Bring
For the desert, pack modest, breathable clothes for comfort and cultural respect. Carry a light jacket for cool nights and closed shoes for the sandy terrain. A camera with spare batteries is a must for memories. Bring a reusable water bottle—hydration stations are available—and a small backpack for personal items. Don’t forget sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat for sun protection. Optional: notebook, Arabic phrasebook, or small gifts.
Additional Information
- Vehicle Sharing Policy: Each Land Cruiser and Hummer car accommodates up to 4 guests. Seating is allocated on a shared basis unless a private vehicle is booked.
- Dress Comfortably: For safaris during cooler months (October to March), dress in warm but breathable clothing suited to evening desert temperatures.
- Supervision Required: Children must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian at all times while at the festival camp.
Health & Safety Tips
- Physical Access: Dune bashing will be comfortable for most of them. Dune bashing involves moderate jolts. We request that Pregnant or mobility-limited guests consult with us before booking
- Cultural Respect: Modest dress, ask before photographing people, please follow the local traditions and their rules of the Emirati
- Emergency Support: Camp medicine kits, radio support, plus reliable transport
Child Safety:
According to UAE traffic laws, children under three must be seated in a child safety seat, which will be provided by the Liwa tour operator.
Things not permitted
To maintain that safety and respectful experience for everyone:
- No alcohol or smoking is allowed on the tour or while inside the safari vehicle.
- With all due respect for the Emirati Cultural norms and laws, photography is not allowed in government buildings, military or police zones or with local women.
